Fellowship

In addition to Sunday Worship, an important aspect of Crookes Valley life is the fellowship meetings (or classes) that take place during the week. Members of the church are encouraged to come along to one of these, where the emphasis is on spiritual growth, bible teaching and sharing our faith with others.

Youth Fellowship - Sundays at 8.00pm
This is organised in conjunction with Wesley Hall Methodist Church, and provides an opportunity for the 14+ age group to get together and have some fun, whilst sharing their faith with each other and growing closer to God.

Worship Band Session - Mondays at 7.30pm
Crookes Valleys worship group get together on most Monday evenings to have a bit of a practice.

Prayer Breakfast - Wednesdays at 7.14am*
A short time of prayer and reflection is followed by breakfast at 8.00am. Everyone is invited to come along and join in fellowship.

* 2 Chronicles 7:14 "...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land"

House Group - Thursdays at 7.30pm
This is open to all age ranges and provides the opportunity to delve into the bible as a group and learn about what it can teach us in living our lives today. This is led in an informal, relaxed style and is particularly well attended by the student members of the church. In addition to the bible teaching and discussions, social evenings are organised in between subject themes.
